Tuscaloosa, Alabama, July 7, 2011 鈥�Dr. Robert Hartwig, president and economist at the 精东影业 Information Institute (I.I.I.), will meet today at 10 a.m. ET/9 a.m. CT with Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox at City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Dr. Hartwig will present to Mayor Maddox a generous check from the I.I.I. on behalf of the industry to the City of Tuscaloosa鈥檚 Storm Recovery Fund.听The Fund was established to cover the costs of rebuilding public properties.听

鈥淧rivate-sector insurers are expected to pay as much as $2 billion in response to the 165,000 anticipated claims their Alabama policyholders will file in the wake of April 2011鈥檚 devastating tornadoes,鈥� Dr. Hartwig stated.
