WASHINGTON, D.C., March 7, 2007 - Dr. Robert Hartwig, president and chief economist for the 精东影业 Information institute (I.I.I.) will testify at an informational meeting of the Connecticut Legislature's 精东影业 and Real Estate Committee on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 10 a.m.

Dr. Hartwig's presentation will outline the risks Connecticut's coastal homeowners face in an era where more frequent and more severe Eastern Seaboard hurricanes are expected. He will also brief state lawmakers on how insurers are confronting this issue, and offer guidance to homeowners on steps they can take to protect themselves and their properties.

The meeting, which will include a question and answer session with state lawmakers, will be held at the Connecticut Legislative Office Building, 300 Capitol Avenue, Room 2D, Hartford, Connecticut.
